Founded in 1874 by William Lyle and Walter Scott, the brand known today as Lyle & Scott came to be in the Scottish town of Hawick. The British Menswear Brand has a long and diverse history crafting high-quality knitwear. Their approach when it comes to design is one of authenticity, drawing on a rich heritage and expertise, while always maintaining a continued commitment to quality.

The rejuvenation of the brand can be traced back to 2003 with the launch of the Vintage collection, which brought with it the iconic Golden Eagle logo.

As the seasons go on, we will ensure that you can get the latest and most modern ranges that Lyle & Scott has to offer, as well as giving you the opportunity to get the older and more mature ranges that might no longer be available elsewhere. One of the main reasons why we wanted to work with this brand is their commitment to sustainability. At GH Global we are devoted to enhancing our customers lifestyle, but we want to ensure we do so in the most sustainable way possible.

In addition to a social and ethical audit, they are introducing ways to improve visibility of the treatment of workers within their organisation. They are aiming to align themselves with more charitable organisations as time goes on, as well as reducing their carbon footprint. By 2021 Lyle & Scott aim to have 100% disposable product packaging that will be fully recyclable, with a minimum of 50% of this packaging being made from sustainable materials.

The Lyle & Scott products are designed with the intention of having a longer than average life span, and they achieve this by using quality fabrics, finishes and rigorous testing to ensure minimal changes occur after each wash. For them it’s about cultivating personal style rather than adopting trends, which is why they are so focused on the details that go into every product and making each collection so versatile.
